My Life: Kids from Kibera
Kibera in Kenya is one of the largest slums in Africa and its home to thousands of children, living and playing on the streets. It can be a dangerous place, but that doesn’t stop our cheeky, streetwise gang from getting on in life. They’re dancers! They’re performers! They’re writers! They also have a lot of talent in business – collecting and selling plastic bottles to raise extra money. Things rarely get our canny entrepreneurs down, but will it all be too much when they form an acrobatic troupe to prepare for the biggest performance of their lives – World Circus Day? With all the outside pressures of survival will they ever get it together?
